About the Experience

Meaningful Artwork Begins Before Your Pencil Touches the Paper.

It begins with paying attention, gathering experiences, recognizing ideas, and learning to see the world more deeply.

For more than forty years, the natural world has been the source of nearly everything Aaron has created, from animated films and wildlife paintings to books, characters, and original stories.

See More Deeply invites you to experience that process alongside him. You will explore Wekiwa Springs State Park, gather inspiration through observation, and return to Aaron’s studio to transform your discoveries into original creative work.

The Creative Journey

Observe. Imagine. Create.

Rather than beginning with a predetermined assignment, the experience starts outdoors and develops naturally from what you discover.

01. Observe
Slow down, sketch, photograph, journal, paint, and notice the moments that might become meaningful ideas.
02. Imagine
Explore how reference and observation become composition, atmosphere, design, storytelling, and visual development.
03. Create
Develop your own original work with individual feedback, critiques, demonstrations, and guidance from Aaron.

A Rare Opportunity

Work Beside Aaron in His Personal Studio.

You will spend two full creative days inside the studio where Aaron develops his own paintings, films, courses, books, characters, and stories.

Aaron will demonstrate his process, work individually with participants, and help each artist strengthen their ideas without forcing everyone into the same medium or finished result.

Who This Experience Is For

  • Painters who want to create work that feels more personal and meaningful
  • Illustrators and visual development artists searching for stronger sources of inspiration

  • Artists who want focused time, personal guidance, and a deeper connection to their work

You do not need to be a working professional, and you do not need to work in one particular medium.
