How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. We make a concerted good faith effort to protect your data. All password information is encrypted to current web standards. All forms are secured using SSL. Various other data protection tools are in place to protect your data and our database from malicious attacks.

No Credit Card Data is stored on our servers. Any subscription payment methods are encrypted and stored with our 3rd party payment processors Stripe & PayPal.

We regularly self-audit the integrity of our database. We also work with 3rd party web hosts to ensure that your data is protected to the best of our ability. In the unlikely event of a data breach we will notify any potentially affected users within 72 hours (or less) of learning of a breach.
