About the Artist
Aaron Blaise is an animator, wildlife artist, and educator best known for his work as a supervising animator and director at Walt Disney Animation Studios. His credits include films such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, and Brother Bear, which he also co-directed.
Alongside his animation career, Aaron has spent decades drawing and painting wildlife. His work reflects a deep understanding of animal anatomy, gesture, and personality, whether rendered in a finished painting or a simple graphite drawing.
Through Creature Art Teacher, Aaron now shares his knowledge with artists around the world, teaching drawing, animation, and painting to a global audience.
