Beauty & The Beast Shot Break Down
I wanted to share something special with you all. I’ve recently been getting back to my old animation desk and doing some 2D Animation on Paper. I thought it might be fun to break down a shot that I did for “Beauty & The Beast” and show you some of the original drawings and my thought process.

Digital Painting Demo / Tutorial
Well, I’ve been very busy lately working on new premium courses including my newly released “Figure Drawing Course” and my upcoming Character Design Course… But, I wanted to take a little time out and work on a new image. Plus, I wanted to create a new free digital painting demo.
Often when I post my SPEED PAINT VIDEOS and time lapses I get requests for something in real time. So, here it is:
I got this idea for a fun elephant image which I call “Sri Lanka Afternoon” – I wanted to share it with you. It was a quick image but I had a lot of fun with it. Hopefully you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Drawing – Remembering Your Perspective
I am currently putting together a new course on Character Design – While working on that I wanted to share some tips on drawing fundamentals. When reviewing portfolios I will often see work where artists have forgotten that the rules of perspective apply to anatomy and characters not just environments.
