You can be one of only 30 guests to join us in Orlando for our first in-person boot camp focused entirely on creature design for film and animation.
Design creatures. Then learn how to bring them to life.
Terryl will teach her approach to designing believable, imaginative creatures grounded in anatomy, function, and story. Aaron will then show how he would take a creature design, simplify it for animation, and prepare it to move.
You’ll get both sides of the process: creating the creature, then thinking through how that creature can move, act, stage, and perform on screen.
Learn how to create believable creatures for film, animation, illustration, and visual development.
See how Aaron thinks about simplifying designs so they can move clearly and retain appeal.
Spend four days drawing, designing, asking questions, and learning directly from Terryl and Aaron.
