A systematic, easily understandable approach to coloring and lighting. The videos lead from the basics of lighting cubes and balls to painting a beautiful, complex landscape. The lessons are clear and in-depth. I was especially happy that they are designed for students to paint along during the demonstrations!

This, again, is a great set of tutorials. I love that it is all so very hands-on. The pace is steady. Nothing is skipped or fast forwarded, and by seeing how Aaron is working, listening to how he explains things, and – most importantly – drawing along with him, you not only get the theoretical knowledge, but also a great practical understanding of how to approach challenging lighting situations.

The basic artwork is provided, and although I felt that I could learn even more by starting each drawing from scratch, you can actually start throwing light on things right away.

    Highly recommended!
