I love all of Aaron’s charcoal courses and this one was great. Not only did I create the example in the course but also was able to use this technique for multiple projects.

This is great for showing a different idea of material AKA Media. Mainly using a different surface to do the charcoal on. The technique is also good and you can see more of that if you get his Charcoal Drawing With Aaron Blaise.

Very nice tutorial video. You artwork is amazing, the video is easy to understand, well detailed and simple.
I never thought of drawing charcoal on wood and the result was great. However, it seems that the fixative doesn’t work well.

Anyway, thank you so much, great video.

I just have to say this was amazing drawing lesson!!! I love the fact that you’re working on wood. It’s been very educational and interesting to watch and learn different ways to do things. I also enjoy your son asking questions. I really think it would be nice to have someone asking questions like he did in all your videos. Especially because I was thinking about the same question he asked.
